On her second, and much anticipated, visit to Birnam Arts, double MOBO Award Winning Saxophonist YolanDa Brown is widely regarded as the emerging voice of mainstream Jazz in the UK - she is one of the most exciting, in-demand live performers - her music is a wonderful mix of genres, touching on Jazz, Soul and Reggae.
Following the critical and popular success of their productions of Iron and Outlying Islands, the latter of which appeared at Birnam Arts last year, award-winning Firebrand, in partnership with Heart of Hawick, present the Scottish premiere of an unconventional and moving love story: a sexy, funny, and thought-provoking exploration of the limits of medicine in today's pill-popping culture.
Multi award-winning/nominee comedian, actress, writer and ex-lawyer, Susan Calman has embarked on her first ever UK tour! Susan, the woman her neighbours call “the mad cat lady”, brings you Lady Like, a reassuring show about being older, wiser and liking yourself, whatever anyone might say!
